KidderCorp’s first product and still our primary business: designing and manufacturing Challenge Coins. Our coins are typically small brass objects that are made for an individual or organization. Coins come in various shapes, sizes, and styles and are often presented for merit, sold as fund-raisers, or traded with other collectors. Military coins are often presented by senior enlisted or commissioned officers to those in their charge for exemplary conduct. Challenge coins are also widely used during retirement ceremonies as a way to say thank you and farewell to fellow workers and friends.
• Challenge coins are found worldwide. Long traditions of collecting and presenting exist in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Australia, and Colombia.
• Challenge coins often represent a unit’s identity or an individual’s rank and accomplishments. Military coins will sometimes be issued to honor a deployment.
